KERAMIDA has partnered with Heritage Interactive Services to provide Sustainability services to Heritage Interactive Services' industrial customers, internationally. Heritage Interactive Services is a global industrial in-plant services provider focusing on waste management under zero waste disposal principles. The company has already succeeded in achieving zero waste disposal status at a major automotive manufacturing facility.
The Sustainability services offered include energy management, carbon footprint determination for facilities, and product life-cycle sustainability assessment. KERAMIDA and Heritage Interactive Services have engaged in a series of Sustainability training courses for Heritage Interactive Services and KERAMIDA clients.
KERAMIDA is now a member of Green Umbrella. The Green Umbrella is a non-profit organization working to improve the economic vitality and quality of life in the region around Cincinnati by maximizing the collective impact of individuals and organizations dedicated to environmental sustainability.
In partnership with the area's leading planning initiatives - Vision 2015 in Northern Kentucky and Agenda 360 in Southwestern Ohio - Green Umbrella facilitates collaboration among over 200 area non-profits, businesses, educational institutions and governmental entities focused on the environmental aspects of sustainability. With its' members, Green Umbrella aims to meet the environmental, social, and economic needs of today while preserving the ability of future generations to do the same.
