KERAMIDA has started the Enhanced Reductive Dechlorination (ERD) injection phase at the Former Standard Register Site in Terre Haute, Indiana. This is a remediation project for the Indiana Finance Authority (IFA) at a historic manufacturing facility. The ERD injection is a mixture of Emulsified Vegetable Oil (EVO), Zero Valent Iron (ZVI), and Bioaugmentation. KERAMIDA will create three barrier walls perpendicular to groundwater flow located up- and down-gradient of the historic source area to remediate residual chlorinated VOCs in groundwater.
