As KERAMIDA’s President, Brian Rockensuess plays a pivotal role in driving the Company's strategic growth, forging meaningful connections with key stakeholders, and leveraging his unparalleled expertise to advance KERAMIDA’s mission of delivering smart solutions for sustainability, compliance, and resilience. His collaborative leadership style, strategic vision, and ability to navigate complex challenges have earned him the respect and trust of industry leaders, municipalities, and policymakers alike. 

Mr. Rockensuess joined KERAMIDA in January 2025, bringing over a decade of exceptional leadership and a proven track record in environmental policy, management, and stakeholder engagement. Before his current role, he served as the Commissioner of the Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM), where he led a team of over 800 staff members and managed a $144 million budget, overseeing the implementation of critical programs such as the Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, and Resource Conservation and Recovery Act. Mr. Rockensuess spearheaded transformative projects like the Go-Fast Initiative, regulatory improvements for anaerobic digesters, and enhanced cybersecurity measures. He also directed Indiana’s emergency response to the East Palestine train derailment and launched the Legislative Roadshow to strengthen relationships between IDEM and lawmakers.

Mr. Rockensuess holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) and is passionate about innovation and stakeholder engagement. His leadership, vision, and deep understanding of environmental challenges align perfectly with KERAMIDA’s commitment to excellence.
