KERAMIDA is attending the inaugural Cities Summit of the Americas, hosted by the U.S. Department of State!

The Cities Summit theme, “Global Challenges, Local Solutions,” inspires leaders across the Western Hemisphere to implement locally the commitments made by government leaders at the Ninth Summit of the Americas. 

The Cities Summit will promote regional cooperation with diverse and inclusive representatives of government, civil society, business, academia, youth, culture, and the arts, and indigenous and underrepresented groups.

City and community leaders will attend a wide variety of events to address a range of priorities local communities across the Americas share. Track sessions feature the following themes:

Thursday, April 27 - Digital; Energy; Mobility and Transportation; Migration; and Housing and Safety

Friday, April 28 - Climate and Environment; Competitiveness, Finance, and Investment; Democracy and Inclusion; Healthy Communities; and Vibrant Cities
