Last Friday, on May 24, the European Union (EU) announced the approval of the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD).
This directive sets obligations for large companies to address their negative impacts on human rights and the environment across their value chain and to adopt transition plans in alignment with the Paris Agreement.
