Carbon Footprint Analysis for Midstream Energy Services Provider
Project Details:
KERAMIDA calculated Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions for a nationwide midstream energy infrastructure and logistics services provider. As part of the analysis, KERAMIDA accounted for all of the Client’s transloading stations and terminals, various auxiliary equipment, as well as their vast mobile fleet including land, marine, and rail units. The purpose of this project was to provide emissions data to the Client for sustainability reporting.
Sources included in the calculation were:
Energy consumption from office space;
Fugitive emissions from almost 100 transmission terminals;
Process GHG emissions from two chemical plants; and
A mobile fleet that included almost 200 land (on-road and off-road) and 150 marine units.
The final deliverable was GHG emissions presented in a format suitable for the chosen sustainability reporting method as well as a final written report describing the calculation methodology and supporting documentation.
