GHG Verification Services for Mass Media & Entertainment Conglomerate
Project Details:
KERAMIDA was tasked to verify Scope 1, 2 (location and market based), and 3 GHG emissions, along with total energy usage, and waste generation data for this multinational mass media and entertainment conglomerate.
KERAMIDA conducted interviews with personnel who represent key functions for supporting the environmental inventory management process and reviewed the processes used to collect, aggregate and report on environmental data and metrics. Spot audits were performed for the processes that generate, gather, and manage the data with the goal of critically evaluating the environmental information management systems.
KERAMIDA used the results of the verification to evaluate if the sustainability disclosure conforms with the verification criteria and if data are sufficient to support environmental claims. In applicable situations, KERAMIDA provided recommendations for improved environmental data handling based on verification findings.
The key deliverable was a written verification report that specified the boundary and data covered by the verification, the reporting and verification protocols used to conduct the verification, and the final verification assurance opinion.
