Scope 1 & 2 GHG Emissions Inventory for Gun Manufacturer
Target: 50% GHG Reduction by 2050
Project Details:
KERAMIDA was tasked with conducting the Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions inventory for an international gun manufacturer. The focus of this study was on their main manufacturing plant in North America.
Evaluation of this GHG inventory resulted in “hot spots” that indicated sources for potential GHG reduction evaluation. Based on the evaluation, it was determined that fleet electrification and on-site solar/PPAs were critical in achieving GHG reductions imposed by the parent company.
An evaluation of proposed GHG savings and estimated cost metrics was conducted to provide the Client guidance on the feasibility of reducing their GHG emissions.
KERAMIDA is currently engaged with the Client to evaluate the GHG reduction strategies in line with their Strategic Plan.
