Sustainability Report and Program Development for CRUM Trucking
Project Details:
Crum Holding strives to be a sustainability leader in freight transportation and believes that a prosperous future for its business and the customers it serves depends on the sustainability of the environment, communities, and economies in which it operates. In order to meet increased stakeholder ESG requests and expectations with a programmatic and strategic response, CRUM consulted with KERAMIDA to develop its Sustainability Program.
Beginning in 2022, KERAMIDA and Crum have partnered to complete a set of tasks, including:
Anchoring and baselining Crum's sustainability context, industry, and current practices
Conducting a Materiality Assessment to identify key ESG topics for Crum and Gap Analysis to evaluate policies, practices, and procedures related to Crum's high-ranking material ESG topics and recommendations for near- and long-term sustainability program development
Sustainability program development, including policy development and publishing of Crum’s inaugural Sustainability Report
GHG Gas Inventory and Targeting for 2022 and 2023
CDP Disclosure 2022 and 2024
Based on their outstanding performance in freight transportation, Crum Trucking has been named a 2024 SmartWay High Performer by the US EPA. This recognition highlights Crum Trucking’s commitment to sustainability and its impressive achievements as a SmartWay TL/Dry Van Truck Carrier in the “Carbon” category.
