John Barnard joined KERAMIDA on May 11th, 2020, immediately after graduating from the University of Dayton with a B.S. in Environmental Biology. Starting as an Environmental Inspector in Northern Indiana, he quickly progressed to an Environmental Compliance Specialist for the state of Indiana, where he concentrated on overseeing four major transmission projects during 2023. KERAMIDA further sponsored John’s educational pursuits, resulting in John earning an M.S. in Environmental Science and Policy from Johns Hopkins University in May 2023.

Upon finishing his master’s, John transitioned seamlessly into a Senior Sustainability Analyst role within KERAMIDA's sustainability team. This new role encompasses detailed reporting and client-facing discussions to produce sustainability reports, benchmarks, and inventories as well as providing deliverables that allow our clients to improve their sense of sustainability within their company strategy. John started within the team in November 2023 and has been diving into it ever since.
