Focusing on Redevelopment at National Brownfields Training Conference
/KERAMIDA's Ed Joniskan, Land Division Senior Manager, attended the Brownfields 2017 conference this past December in Pittsburgh. Cosponsored by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the International City/County Management Association (ICMA), the National Brownfields Training Conference is the largest gathering of stakeholders focused on cleaning up and reusing formerly utilized commercial and industrial properties. Some highlights included:
KERAMIDA had not one but two posters selected by the conference committee for the Brownfields 2017 Poster Gallery: Poster #1 “Indy's Northwest Area and Groundwork Indy: Braiding together Partnerships to Strengthen a Community” and Poster #2 “Hop On! Join NWIBC on a tour of the region's top sites and meet the partners you need to know!”
