Vicky Keramida Nominated To LISC Advisory Board

KERAMIDA is proud to announce that Vicky Keramida has been nominated to the Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) Advisory Board.

LISC Indianapolis is the local office of the country's largest community development corporation. LISC is dedicated to transforming distressed neighborhoods into healthy and sustainable communities. LISC has an increasing focus on the key role brownfields and urban infill have on neighborhood renewal and Dr. Keramida's decades of technical experience will help LISC better direct their resources to have the greatest impact on the Indianapolis community. Dr. Keramida is one of the new board members who will support LISC by providing technical advice, program consulting, training, and policy support to neighborhoods. This nomination is well suited for Dr. Keramida who has dedicated her time and resources to stimulate economic development, champion education, and support healthy environments and lifestyles. Her efforts are based on the proven principle that sustainable revitalization works best when it is driven by community residents and stakeholders.
