Delineated Wetlands and Streams - Mapping and Survey
To make the process even more efficient, we use highly accurate GPS receivers linked to our Mobile GIS Wetlands Delineation Application, saving time and effort in the field when locating stream and wetland limits. Our GIS specialists create detailed maps from data collected in the field which are added as a supplement to the final report.
USACE Jurisdictional Determinations
Understanding what aquatic features within your project will be regulated is an important element of site planning and design. During the permitting process we can request a Preliminary or an Approved Jurisdictional Determination from the USACE depending on the needs of your project.
Regulatory Permitting & Agency Coordination
KERAMIDA coordinates with Local, State, and Federal Agencies throughout the life of the project from initial project submissions, scheduling site walkovers with regulators, and permit acquisition, to project closeouts.
Unified Stream Methodology (USM) Stream Assessments for Mitigation Credit Determination
A USM Assessment is needed to determine a Reach Condition Index (RCI) value. This value determines compensatory mitigation credits needed for impacts to that stream reach.
Mitigation Credit Coordination and Acquisition
We work with private mitigation banks and The Nature Conservancy to acquire the credits your project might need.
Permit Compliance Inspections and Reporting
When impacts to waters are proposed on a project, monthly and bi-annual monitoring and reporting is required.
Threatened and Endangered Species Studies
KERAMIDA can perform preliminary Threatened and Endangered Species Reviews. Once the preliminary assessment is complete and reviewed, we will work with a certified contractor should any further field studies need to be performed.
NPDES/VPDES Compliance Inspections During Construction
KERAMIDA offers third-party inspections during construction by certified Erosion and Sediment Control staff to keep your site in compliance with State and Federal regulations.
Post-Construction Stormwater Management BMP Inspections, Inventory, and Compliance
KERAMIDA provides comprehensive inspections of your post-construction stormwater management facilities. These inspections keep your assets in compliance and will point out any deficiencies that could eliminate large costly repairs in the future.
