According to the Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures, one of the most significant and misunderstood risks that organizations face today relates to climate change. While it is widely recognized that continued greenhouse gas emissions will cause further warming of the planet and this warming could lead to damaging effects, the exact timing and magnitude of physical and transitional effects are difficult to estimate and related to the actions that we take today to reduce emissions.
