How long have you been with KERAMIDA?

I have been with KERAMIDA for 9 months.

What do you love about this line of work?

I’ve been doing this for 32+ years and I have found each day is different and provides an opportunity to add value to someone or something. I also enjoy working with such diverse colleagues, clients, and facilities. It is really awesome to see how things we use every day are made.

What continues to drive your passion for environmental consulting?

My drive comes from knowing that there are opportunities to solve challenging environmental issues and that clients are relying on us to help them solve those issues.

What do you think it will take for the world to address the current environmental issues?

Shut out all of the external noise and fluff, then focus on taking on the challenges/issues one day at a time.

What do you believe is the most meaningful/impactful aspect of your role?

I love being in a position to help others achieve their goals.

What are some of your hobbies outside of work?

I enjoy spending time with family and friends doing whatever (cookouts, biking, hiking, or sitting on the beach). Time goes by fast so enjoy every minute of it.

I have been blessed to have the opportunity to coach soccer for the past 20-years at the recreational, travel, and now high school level. Being a coach has allowed me to help kids and young adults embrace what it means to be a “team,” and that by combining individual strengths and talents you can achieve so much more. That goes well beyond wins and losses. In fact, it goes well beyond the sport.
